Home Repairs and Handyman Service in Southeastern, MA
Showcase of Work

My Story
This journey comes full circle from where I began. I worked for a local lumber yard that specialized in mill work and specialty woods. I began delivering wood to sites and local furniture builders. Soon after I was picking, milling and delivering orders. I met several awesome people along the way. In order to advance myself, I was then given the opportunity to become part of a frame to finish crew where I learned the art building and construction. The only problem was the uncertainty of steady work. Over the next several years I worked in several building and construction trades until I could no longer deal with the fluctuating income of being laid off when there was no work. I decided to take a factory job at a distribution center and return to school to get my electronics engineering degree. This factory job is not what I wanted for a career. It did afford me the opportunity to go to school and meet the woman of my dreams, who coincidentally is my wife now for over 15 years and the mother of our 2 kids. I completed my degree and began working in the semiconductor field as a technician, slowly working my way up over the next 10 years to become manager of the equipment maintenance team. Soon after being in the corporate world, it became apparent this was not my long term goal. Throughout this time period, I always worked on my own home improvement projects as well as helping family and friends with their own projects. When the corporate world became more and more demanding, I started to think, “Why not just start your own business?” Helping homeowners complete their projects or build them a piece of furniture that will last for years to come is what I am meant to do. That's why I started Honestus Woodworks in 2018 with the dream of being everyone’s local Carpenter/Handyman/Furniture Maker/Craftsman…... you insert title here!
